Digital Detox

These past couple of weeks I haven’t been posting as much on social media; I’m going through a bit of a burn out. I feel like all the screen time is a time suck and I’m not really living. How are you guys handling digital fatigue?

Some things I am doing differently…

  • Walking in the mornings

  • Coming home and unplugging

  • Reframing my thoughts around making content

Reframing my thoughts looks like this

Before I record something I think,

  • “Who would this video help?”

  • “How does this video provide value?”

  • “Is this brain rot?”

  • “Am I doing this only for my own pleasure?” Which is also valid.

These few questions have helped me decide when to post a video versus a thread/blog post. I hope it helps you out too, even if you don’t post a lot.
